Williaam Cox Ireland Ltd. designed and installed the profiled gutters, the continuous rooflights and the aluminium cladding in this project, making it the most advanced sports stadium roof in Ireland. The Canal end and the Hogan stand incorporate additional translucent sheeting, in order to avoid shading on the pitch. The gutters are fabricated from 4mm. thick aluminium in 7m. lengths x a 1.5m. girth. The roof cladding is 0.75 guage steel sheeting by Hoesch. The translucent sheet is 12mm. Lexan Exell D clear polycarbonate with a UV inhibitor.
