| Architectural Façades | Architectural Glazing - Curtain Walling | Cladding |
The term 'Curtain wall' is defined as a building façade which does not carry any dead load other than its own dead load. Curtain walls are typically designed with extruded aluminum members. The aluminum frame is normally infilled with glass, providing an architecturally pleasing building, as well as benefits such as daylighting. Other common infills include: stone, (rainscreen) cladding, louvres, and operable windows or vents.
Williaam Cox is one of few Schüco approved installers and has recently received a Schüco award in recognition of its production and installation achievements of high quality façade, window and door systems.
We have extensive experience in unitised curtain walling, with a dedicated unitised production line, and multiple skin façades.
