Williaam Cox’s latest development -in conjunction with our international partners- is a ballistic rated glazing system, COX Security Glass, designed to cope with the highest level of attack.

Due to the ongoing success of our Architectural Glazing Division, we have gathered a wealth of expertise in specialist glazing. We have therefore tailored this security system to be as flexible as possible and to suit a
vast range of applications.
Because of the low profile nature of most security applications, Williaam Cox can provide a highly trained crew to install our systems.

COX Security Glass is a range of composite security products which combine the mechanical strength of polycarbonate with the abrasion resistance of glass.

The resin laminating system achieves a very strong chemical bond between glass, resin and polycarbonate which is capable of resisting the large differential in coefficient of thermal expansion between these materials.

This chemical bond significantly increases the durability of the product and allows polycarbonate to be clad on one side only if required.

The range provides solutions for manual attack, ballistic and blast threats. Independent accreditation has been achieved at various levels of manual attack resistance (BRE LPS1175 levels SR2, 3, 4 & 5) and at all levels of EN 1063 in regard to bullet resistance.
